Conversion Rate Optimisation (sometimes called landing page optimisation) is the process of testing multiple variations of a web page or website to see which version performs the best.
This process involves creating two different versions of a page and randomly showing different versions to new visitors to the site. We then measure the behaviour of the visitors of the two different versions to see which group of visitors converts in a sale/lead.
Multivariate Testing is more complex than A/B Testing, because it involves more than two variations in the test. You can mix and match multiple variations of instances of a page/site for example colour schemes, logos, images etc.
